On the occasion of Fuorisalone 2025, FBSprofilati took part in the event through a prestigious collaboration with Azzurra Ceramica, a renowned company in the bathroom furnishings sector. A project that tells the story of the meeting between two Italian companies united by a long-standing tradition in design, a shared passion for quality and aesthetics, meticulous attention to detail, and a constant drive for research and innovation.

The collaboration with Azzurra Ceramica: the tambour door as protagonist

FBSprofilati’s contribution took shape in the creation of the aluminum tambour door, a key feature of the new freestanding bathroom furniture collection Cleer, designed by DGO_Diego Grandi Office for Azzurra Ceramica.

Made with solid or WIND micro-perforated aluminum slats, the tambour door outlines the curved contours of the furniture and opens with a smooth, intuitive gesture. Its design—both technical and elegant—enhances the material and gives character to the entire project.

Cleer: the bathroom as a hybrid space

Inside the venue at Largo Augusto 2 in Milan, Cleer fully embodies the spirit of Fuorisalone – “Connected Worlds” – where the blending of spaces, materials, and languages, and the collaboration between interior design companies take center stage. It is precisely from this vision that Cleer was born: a piece of furniture that interprets the bathroom as a hybrid space, in dialogue with the other rooms of the home.

Urban inspiration and aluminum as a signature element

The name Cleer is inspired by the typical Milanese term for shutter or rolling gate, evoking the urban landscape from which it draws its form. The aluminum slats by FBSprofilati slide horizontally, recalling the daily opening of storefront shutters and transforming a technical action into a key gesture in the user experience.

The versatile finishes and graphic appearance of the tambour door add depth and originality to the Cleer collection, which naturally fits into a variety of contemporary living contexts.
